Ergo candles don't have a single aroma, but rather many layers of fragrance, each a three-part blend.

The top note is the first whiff of a fragrance. This is your first impression of the fragrance. It is the part that travels the furthest--and that dissipates first (citrus notes, for example).

The middle note is the body or heart of the scent. This emerges once the fragrance has had a chance to blend in the air.

The base note is the warm, final impression or undertone of the fragrance. It lingers, not traveling far from the source. This is the scent you smell most once the candle is put out.
